Our Wedding

Kerry was visiting from California to cheer on the Miami Hurricanes at homecoming, David lived two blocks away and was completing medical school.They met at a bar, Blackbird Ordinary and talked and danced all night. In the next few months, Dave had two conferences in California and Kerry went back to Miami to see the Hurricanes in the Orange Bowl. He asked why she still lived in California, her answer was she wasn't sure. They have been together since 2018. They were long distance for a year before Kerry attended graduate school at the University of Miami. They lived together and grew as close as only two people who share an 800 sq ft apartment during Covid can become.Residency took David to Pittsburgh while he began seven years of training, they did two more years of long distance while Kerry completed her degree. They have now lived together for 5 years in Pittsburgh with their beloved Dog, Mika.On April 21st, 2023 David and Kerry set out to complete a hike up Mt. Whitney, something they had done many years ago when Kerry was living in California. David asked Kerry to marry him.We are so grateful for our life together and cannot wait to celebrate our love story and commitment with the friends and family that have given us so much love and support.
